The RTH Foundation aims to empower the next generation of high school student athletes in Chautauqua County who strive to pursue STEM-related studies in college as well as entering into partnerships with like minded organizations.
Ryan Hetrick : “This past summer I had the incredible opportunity to give two scholarship awards to student athletes in my home area from the money we raised when we ran around my home lake.
The two winners are Matt Pannes and Madeleine Wadsworth. Both of these students were incredible athletes and also great students as well. They will both be pursuing STEM degrees and I can’t wait to see what they achieve in their career.
There is no better feeling for me than giving back to my home community and giving back to the people that put so much into me.
I am very glad that we had the opportunity to help them in their transition to college. Wishing these two nothing but the best of luck!”
The RTH Foundation Scholarship is awarded to one student athlete from Southwestern High School and one student athlete from Maple Grove High School who is pursuing a college degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field.
This scholarship is awarded to a high performing student athlete who showed leadership and passion in his or her sport and also pursued excellence in the classroom.
